KCA International Guitar Series Presents Luke Tyrrell

Multi-award winning classical guitarist Luke Tyrrell.

The KCA International Guitar Series returns to the MMI in November following the highly successful concert by BenOla Duo, with an unmissable performance by multi-award winning classical guitarist Luke Tyrrell.

Tyrrell comes from Reading, Berkshire, and has given acclaimed concerts at many prestigious venues including the London Guitar Festival, Charter House, the Spanish Embassy and Cornwall's Hellys International Guitar Festival – where leading performers from around the world hailed him as “the find of the 2023 festivities”.

A member of the International Guitar Foundation's Young Artist Program, he is currently presenting repertoire from his favourite music collected during his time studying at London's Trinity Laban Conservatoire, including a wealth of early C20 Spanish works and lesser-known compositions from South America by Walter Heinze and Isaias Savio. He performs on a 2023 Domenico Montagna guitar built by the German master luthier Otto Rauch.

His MMI concert kicks-off the International Guitar Series on Wed 27 Nov at 7.30pm. Tickets are on sale NOW from www.kernowconcerts.co.uk priced at £12.50, with accompanied U18s able to attend for free.
