Kernow classical concerts presents: Fabrizio Ferraro

We are delighted to welcome Italian guitar maestro Fabrizio FERRARO to the Miners & Mechanics' Institute as part our on-going involvement with the KCA International Guitar Series, for an unmissable concert of baroque and romantic period music – all performed on an early 19th century pre-classical guitar.

Prof. Ferraro, who originally hails from Sardinia, is a leading international composer, concert artist and educator who regularly performs in guitar and chamber music festivals around the world. Recent performances have included tours in Europe, Asia and the United States, and he has composed for solo guitar, chamber ensembles and symphonies – including for the renowned Queensboro Symphony Orchestra of New York.

Known as a stylish and impassioned performer, his concert at the MMI includes music by Bach, Coste, Giuliani and Mertz – all played standing up, in the traditional style, on this oft-ignored yet delicately nuanced instrument.

Whatever your plans this March, make sure you include Fabrizio Ferraro LIVE at the MMI in your diary for a magical night of some of the most beautiful and inspiring solo guitar music ever written.
