Pilates with Rachel Budden

Rachel is passionate about Pilates and the benefits that Pilates can have for both our body and our mind.

Rachel’s love of Pilates started when she sustained a neck injury. Since then regular Pilates sessions have helped Rachel keep pain free. Rachel trained to be an instructor in matwork with Allison Swan of Pilates Matwork in 2019. Rachel’s favourite move is the Bridge which improves spine mobility and targets the glutes.

Qualifications:

  • Level 3 Pilates Matwork Instructor
  • Level 3 Pre & Post Natal Pilates Instructor

  • Pilates for the older adult
  • Pilates and breast cancer
  • Back pathology
  • Hip and knee rehabilitation
  • Osteoporosis
  • Neurological
  • Pilates for runners
  • Pilates and the Foot

Class Schedule

Tuesdays 8am-8.45am – Rise & Shine Pilates (Fit Improver Level)
Thursdays 10am-11am – Gentle Improver Pilates (a gentle class for those who have some experience of doing Pilates)
Thursdays 6-7pm online – Strengthen & Stretch Pilates (mixed ability)

Rachel’s Pilates classes focus on increasing strength, flexibility, co-ordination, improving posture, balance and reducing anxiety. Classes take place in a safe welcoming environment.  Classes are available for all abilities.  Clear instructions and feedback are provided including corrections and adaptations where necessary so everybody can practice at their own level.
