MMI Music presents: Family Friendly (Early) New Year’s Eve Party with Funk Soul Other!

Join us on the last evening of 2025 for a very Fun Family-Friendly Fundraiser for the MMI featuring FUNK SOUL OTHER!!

For the first time in any of our memories the MMI will be hosting a New Year's Eve event - BUT THERE'S A CATCH:)..

We're celebrating midnight at 9PM! YEP you read that right - 9PM. 

Which means:

- It's a unique chance to experience a New Years Eve Party with a midnight count down with kids!

- You can dance the year away and still get home in time to be warm and dry and watching the fireworks on the TV (or down one of the pubs in plenty of time for midnight!)

It's Win Win Win basically:)

The night will be hosted by the incredible FUNK SOUL OTHER - an 11 piece covers band from St Agnes who play everything from Canned Heat and James Brown to Rage Against The Machine and Reel Big Fish.  Absolutely Guaranteed to get you dancing!

We're planning all sorts of things including a Photo Booth, Mocktails, a New Year's Resolution Wall, a Glow in the Dark Room, a Chillout room, lots of snacks provided, plus a very exciting and high tech Balloon Drop on the count of 9PM!! The MMI bar will of course be open too!

Dress Code : Sparkle / Shine / Neon / LOUD / whatever you want!!

Tickets are £8 for kids, £11 for adults.

Suitable for ages 7 and up, but all welcome.

All funds raised will be going towards the Save the MMI Campaign!

This will be a standing gig, with seating dotted about in the dancehall - so if you have any accessibility requirements we can help with please let us know in advance.

Doors & Bar Open at 6:30pm

Funk Soul Other start at 7:30pm

Midnight drops at 9pm

Music finishes by 9:30pm

Venue closes by 10pm.

Home in time for bed & a fresh New Year! (Or in plenty of time to head to one of the pubs for a proper Midnight and a blurry New Year!:)
