"A Gift In Deed" - The story of your MMI!

A SPECIAL SCREENING OF THE 2025 TALK BY ROGER RADCLIFFE

In September 2025 local historian Roger Radcliffe gave a fantastic talk at the MMI Open Day recounting the history of this special building.

A lively, story-packed journey through the MMI's past - from grand parades and public celebrations to curious thefts, colourful characters, and moments of community reinvention.

This talk was filmed, and on Tuesday 24th February we will be screening the talk for those that missed it the first time around (or those who would like to see it again!)

Tickets are £5 and available in advance, and any tickets remaining on the 24th will be available to purchase on the door via card or cash.

The film will be subtitled, and afterwards you are welcome to stay for ​a short screening of our own MMI Film! A 20 minute long look at the people and things that make this place tick ​in 2026!:)
