St Agnes Carnival 2026

One of the biggest events of the year in the Parish. A massive street party featuring floats, dancing and music. The MMI bar will be open from 3pm

St Agnes Carnival is coming up in under two weeks, on Saturday 1 August 2026, rather than in two months.

The carnival is one of Cornwall’s best-loved village carnivals and features:

- A colourful procession through St Agnes, led by the village’s legendary Giant Bolster.

- Live music, dancing, and entertainment throughout the evening.

-Creative floats, costumes, walking groups and community organisations.

- A lively, family-friendly atmosphere with thousands of spectators lining the streets.

- Food, drink and activities centred around the village and the sports club after the parade.

The procession is scheduled to start at 5:00 pm, beginning on Goonvrea Road and making its way through the village to St Agnes Sports Club.

If you’re thinking of entering a float, walking group or helping as a volunteer, now is the right time to get involved, as the organisers are encouraging community participation. The carnival costs around £8,000 to stage each year and relies heavily on volunteers and fundraising.
